Fall 2024 Travel Season Information

•  Travel uniforms are different from Rec uniforms; You cannot use a rec uniform in travel

Fall 2024 Travel Season Dates

Saturday games:

• U10, U12, U14

Sunday games:

• HS – 7v7 or 11v11  (If applicable)

(If we have an Odd # of teams in a division/flight; means that I need to plan for additional weeks for games)

Key dates:

July 10^th: Teams need to be in SportsConnect

• CMYSL Registrars should be able to see team names, division requested, players, and coaches
  • Pictures should be up to date and cropped so it only shows the person from the neck up (Should be Passport Like)
• Waiver requests submitted into SmartSheet form for each player
• ALL coaches need to complete their annual registration

Aug 1^st: Initial Fall Insurance filing should be done with MA Youth

Aug 4^th: Add /Drop team cutoff

• Field Setup/Restrictions – Must be in SportsConnect
  • Any unique instances, like homecoming at a school field, please email president@cmysl.com to ensure field closure
• Payment made to CMYSL for team, assignor, and referee fees

Aug 7^th: Scheduling started

Aug 10^th: CMYSL Registrars start team approval process

• Coaches CORI, Concussion, and SafeSport status should be complete
• Players and Coaches pictures should be complete
• Player(s) without waiver will not be accepted till waiver is granted

Aug 24^th or 25^th: Fall Coaches Kickoff meeting

• Will be a virtual meeting (conducted via zoom or google meeting)

Aug 31^st: Labor Day Weekend – No games

Sep 7^th: First games on Saturday

Sep 30^th: Final Fall Insurance filing should be done with MA Youth

Oct 12^th & 13^th: Columbus Day – No regularly scheduled games

• Games can be played on Columbus Day (If both teams agree)

Nov 9^th:  Last weekend for pre-scheduled games

AGM – TBD 

• Weekend of 11/30 or 12/7
